About the Lewis Law Center Renovation Project

Harvard Law School recently completed a full renovation of the Reginald F. Lewis Law Center at 1557 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge. The project consisted of the renovation of the existing building, the addition of a 5th floor, and an addition to the building’s west elevation that extends out by 20 feet the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors on the side of the building facing Mass Ave. The scope of work also included the installation of new windows, cleaning of the existing limestone façade, new landscaping, a renovated main entrance and terrace, and the complete replacement of all mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems throughout the building.
