Interior and exterior renovations on the Harvard University-owned home at 13 Kirkland Place began in December 2021. Once complete in the spring of 2023, the building will provide housing for the University’s graduate students and faculty.
All construction equipment and vehicles are accessing the property from the backyard to ensure Kirkland Place remains unobstructed. To ensure pedestrian safety, signage is posted re-routing pedestrians from the pathway behind the building to another walkway further down Divinity Ave. Neighbors can expect to see contractors and various types of mechanical equipment at 13 Kirkland Place and dumpsters will be loaded/unloaded within the fenced-in area.
Project work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
