The following summarizes the work planned on the Adams House Phase 3 renovation for the week of August 14. Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise.
PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- Continuous deliveries and dumpster swaps can be expected throughout the week.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- Masonry work on the exterior façade will continue.
- Abatement of East Terrace walk-out bay roofs will continue.
- Water main work will tentatively start towards the end of the week on lower Bow Street.
- A crane will be on site at the end of next week to install of a man/material lift and will be positioned on lower Bow Street. (Update: This crane is now scheduled for Thursday, August 17. This is a one day operation.)
INTERIOR ACTIVITIES:
- Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing make safe, temporary fire alarm, and temporary power will continue.
- Fire alarm testing with Harvard University Fire Group and Cambridge Fire Department.
- Temporary fire alarm testing is scheduled for Monday at 5:00am.
- Temporary protection will continue.
- Abatement will continue inside Westmorly and Russell Hall.
- Demolition of interior wood trim, kitchen equipment, and ancillaries will continue.
- Temporary power energization for the building is planned for Wednesday at 9:00am.

- Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
- Saturday 8/12 9:00am to 4:30pm
