The following summarizes the work planned on the Adams House Phase 3 renovation for the week of October 16. Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise.
PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- Continuous deliveries and dumpster swaps throughout the week.
- Load out from back parking lot and live load of dumpsters on Bow Street will continue.
- The drainage tie-in at Arrow Street will be completed. A police detail has been requested.
- The jersey barriers will be reset along Upper Bow Street.
- This includes a bike lane closure at Bow Street down to DeWolfe Street.
- Work is in coordination with Cambridge DPW.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- Masonry work on the exterior façade will continue.
- Roofing abatement at Westmorly will continue.
- Scaffolding installation will continue along the Plympton Street & South of Westmorly elevations.
- Man/material hoist will be operating while the site is open.
- On weekdays the lift will operate until 6:00pm.
- A crane is scheduled to remove debris from the roof.
- Steel will be delivered for the shoring of Westmorly.
- A boom truck will be staged in the back parking lot to assist with the steel erection.
INTERIOR ACTIVITIES:
- Interior rough carpentry will continue.
- Abatement will continue inside Westmorly and Russell Hall.
- Interior demolition of Westmorly and Russell Hall.
- Saw cutting of Russell Hall slab will continue.
WORK HOURS:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 3:30pm with second shifts from 3:30pm to 10:30pm (No exterior noise after 6:00pm)
- Saturday 10/21 – 9:00am to 4:30pm
