The following summarizes the work planned on the Adams House Phase 3 renovation for the week of October 23. Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise.
PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- Continuous deliveries and dumpster swaps throughout the week.
- Steel deliveries will begin in the back parking lot.
- Work from a boom truck is scheduled for the end of the week.
- Eversource is scheduled to remove the existing gas main at the intersection of Bow Street and Arrow Street.
- This is an Eversource project and is permitted separately from the Adams Phase 3 Project.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- Masonry work on the exterior façade will continue.
- Scaffolding installation will continue along the south elevation of Westmorly.
- Man/material hoist will be operating while the site is open.
- On weekdays the lift will operate until 6:00pm.
- Steel will be erected at the roof of Westmorly.
INTERIOR ACTIVITIES:
- Interior rough carpentry will continue.
- Abatement will continue inside Russell Hall.
- Interior demolition of Westmorly and Russell Hall.
- Saw cutting and removal of Russell Hall slab will continue.
- Demolition and excavations at the Conservatory will continue.
- Temporary heating equipment install will begin next week.
WORK HOURS:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 3:30pm with second shifts from 3:30pm to 10:30pm (No exterior noise after 6:00pm)
- Saturday 10/28 – 9am to 4:30pm
