The following summarizes the work planned on the Adams House Phase 3 renovation for the week of June 17. Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise.
PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- Continuous deliveries and dumpster swaps will occur throughout the week.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- Masonry work will continue on the exterior façade of all buildings.
- Masonry rebuilds for the Russell Hall and Westmorly chimneys are ongoing.
- Masonry rebuild of the window bays at the east elevation of Westmorly continues to progress.
- Window framing repairs remain ongoing at Westmorly.
- Scaffolding continues to be erected on the northeast and east elevations of Russell Hall.
- The erection of the permanent steel structure within Russell Hall and Westmorly will continue.
- This activity will require the use of a crane within the site fence on Tuesday, June 18.
- A pump truck will be placed inside of the site fence for a concrete placement for the conservatory tunnel walls mid next week (date TBD).
- Excavation activities will continue to take place in the Conservatory Area for utilities and new mechanical tunnels.
- A hoist will be operating while the site is open.
- On weekdays the lift will operate 7am-3:30pm and on Saturday it will be in operation from 9am-4:30pm.
INTERIOR ACTIVITIES:
- Interior framing and drywall activities will continue to occur in Westmorly.
- Spray foam insulation will begin within Westmorly.
- Excavations for under slab utilities within Westmorly continue.
- Installation of new mechanical systems within Westmorly is ongoing.
- Installation of the elevator shafts within Russell Hall and Westmorly continues to progress.
- Steel erection will continue to occur in Russell Hall and Westmorly.
- Demolition activities remain ongoing in Russell Hall to support the installation of new steel framing.
WORK HOURS:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 7am to 3:30pm.
- Wednesday June 19: 9am to 4pm the jobsite will be open on Juneteenth.
- Saturday, June 22: 9am to 4pm.
