The following summarizes the work planned on the Adams House Phase 3 renovation for the week of August 5. Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise.
PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
• Continuous deliveries and dumpster swaps throughout the week.
• Water Service work will begin next week on Monday 8/5. Work will begin within the site fence at the beginning of the week then move into Bow Street. We will coordinate with the city for work outside the fence.
• Repairs to support construction at Russell Hall will require the contractor to close Plympton Street to through traffic starting on 8/12 at all times for approximately one month. Local traffic seeking access to the parking lots off Plympton Street will be able to access Plympton by driving the opposite way down the street from Mass Ave. A police detail will be on site to assist.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
• Masonry work on the exterior façade will continue for all buildings.
• Masonry rebuild for the Russell Hall & Westmorly chimney’s will continue.
• Masonry rebuild of the window bays at the East Elevation of Westmorly will continue.
• Window frame repairs will continue at Westmorly.
• Erection of the permanent steel structure will continue within Russell Hall & Westmorly
• Concrete placement scheduled for Monday 8/5. Pump pruck will be within the site fence.
• Excavations for utilities and new mechanical tunnels will continue in the Conservatory Area.
• Man/material hoist will be operating while the site is open.
• On weekdays the lift will operate 7:00am-3:30pm
INTERIOR ACTIVITIES:
• Interior wood framing will continue in Westmorly.
• Framing and drywall will continue within Westmorly.
• Excavations for under slab utilities within Westmorly will continue.
• Mechanical Contractors will continue with installation of new systems within Westmorly.
• Masonry contractor will continue with the install of the elevator shafts in Westmorly Court.
• Permanent steel erection will continue within Russell Hall and Westmorly.
• Spray fireproofing will continue within Russell Hall and Westmorly.
• Floor prep install will continue with Russell Hall.
• Steel and concrete demolition will continue within Russell Hall to support new steel framing installation.
SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH IMPACTS:
• Continue with masonry work adjacent to 9 Bow and 22 Plympton.
• Material loading for masonry and carpentry work via Rear Lot.
• Spray foam insulation truck will be parked within site fence to facilitate spray foam insulation within Westmorly.

• Monday-Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
• Saturday 8/10 – Site Open from 9:00am to 4:00pm
