Week of September 16, 2024

Dates 9/16/24 to 9/21/24:

PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:

1. Continuous deliveries and dumpster swaps will occur throughout the week.
2. Trenches for the water service work at Upper Bow Street will be paved on Monday, September 16 along with the jersey barriers and the site being reinstalled on Tuesday, September 17.

EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:

1. Masonry work on the exterior façade will continue to take place for all buildings.
2. roofing installation will begin on the Westmorly and Russell Hall roofs.
3. Sheet metal will continue preparation for new copper cladding at the Russell Hall Tower.
4. Window frame repairs will remain ongoing at Westmorly & Russell Hall.
5. A concrete placement is scheduled for Thursday, September 19. A pump truck will be within the site fence.  
6. Russell Hall chimney’s scaffolding will continue to be dismantled next week.
7. Scaffolding on the north side of the library will continue to be dismantled next week.
8. A hoist will be operating while the site is open.
   • On weekdays the lift will operate 7:00am-3:30pm

INTERIOR ACTIVITIES:

1. Framing and drywall continue to progress in Westmorly & Russell Hall.
2. The installation of new systems will continue within Westmorly & Russell Hall.
3. Permanent steel erection is progressing within Russell Hall and Westmorly.
4. Spray foam insulation will continue within Westmorly & Russell Hall.

SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH IMPACTS:

1. Masonry work continues adjacent to 9 Bow St and 22 Plympton St.
2. Material for masonry and carpentry work will load in via rear lot.
3. Spray foam insulation truck will be parked within the site fence to facilitate spray foam insulation within Westmorly.

WORK HOURS:

1. Monday-Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
2. Saturday, September 21 9:00am to 4:00pm
