The following summarizes the utility work planned in the Littauer Lot for the week of October 28. Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise.
Dates: 10/28/24-11/01/24
PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- The turnaround for delivery and service vehicles to and from the SEAS parking lot is complete.
- Fencing in front of Austin Hall will be extended to block the sidewalk coming from Hemenway Gym to Austin Hall. Pedestrian detours will be marked.
- Fencing for Phase 1B will be installed extending the work zone towards the manhole in front of Hastings Hall. Pedestrian paths will be detoured and marked with signage.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- Excavation will continue within the site fence.
- Waterproofing, formwork and reinforcing installation will start within the site fence
- Fencing installation for Phases 1B and excavation for duct bank will start within the site fence.
OTHER IMPACTS:
- No other impacts are expected.
WORK HOURS:
- Monday -Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- No work is planned for Saturday, November 2.
