The following summarizes the utility work planned in the Littauer Lot for the week of November 4. Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise.
Dates: 11/04/24 -11/08/24
PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- The fencing in front of Austin Hall will be relocated to allow pedestrian access from the north-south sidewalk to the west of the Austin Hall entrance. Pedestrian detours will be marked.
- Fencing for Phase 1B will be installed extending the work zone to the manhole in front of Hastings Hall. Pedestrian paths will be blocked, and detours will be marked with signage.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- Waterproofing, formwork, and reinforcing installation will start for a slab placement. Work will occur within the site fence.
- A concrete placement for a slab will occur within the site fence.
- Fencing installation for phases 1A/1B will begin and excavation within the site fence is ongoing.
OTHER IMPACTS:
- No other impacts are expected.
WORK HOURS:
- Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- No work is planned for Saturday, November 9.
