The following summarizes the utility work planned in the Littauer Lot for the week of December 30 Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise.

PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- Fencing will remain in place for Phase 2B/2C.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- Conduit will be installed at the Littauer tie-in and continue to the Littauer Entrance (Pending a re-inspection by Cambridge Inspectional Services Department.)
- Backfilling will take place at Littauer tie-in pending ISD re-inspection. Noise and vibration impact for backfilling and paving operation.
- Pending completion of existing concrete demolition, ductile iron piping installation will occur from the catch basin to the drain manhole.
- Backfilling of ductile iron piping will take place. Noise and vibration impact for backfilling and paving operation.
- Excavation will continue near the Littauer Entrance. Noise impact from excavation operation.
OTHER IMPACTS:
- Possible concrete placement towards end of week at Littauer tie-in pending conduit re-inspection by ISD.
- Soil sampling will occur outside Austin Hall and Jefferson Laboratory for the next two weeks.
WORK HOURS:
- Monday -Tuesday and Thursday-Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- The site will be closed on Wednesday, January 1 for the New Year’s Day holiday.
- Tentative plan to work Saturday, January 4 if any days are lost during the week due to weather.
