The following summarizes the work planned on the Adams House Phase 3 renovation for the week of January 27. Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise.
Dates 1/27/25 to 2/01/25:
PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- Continuous deliveries and dumpster swaps will occur throughout the week.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- Masonry work on the exterior façade will continue for all buildings.
- Roofing installation will continue on the Russell Hall & Library Commons roofs.
- Installation of new copper cladding will continue at the Russell Hall Tower.
- Window frame repairs will continue at Westmorly & Russell Hall.
- Wood framing will continue on the Westmorly Pool Theater roof.
- Mechanical work continues on the Westmorly roof.
- Scaffolding dismantle will continue at Westmorly & Russell Hall.
- The hoist will be dismantled starting on Monday, January 27. A Crane will be onsite Wednesday, January 29 to facilitate the dismantle. The crane will be within the site fence.
INTERIOR ACTIVITIES:
- Framing and drywall will continue within Westmorly & Russell Hall.
- Installation of new systems will continue within Westmorly & Russell Hall.
- Spray foam insulation will continue within Westmorly & Russell Hall.
- Floor prep & tile installation will continue within Westmorly.
- Millwork installation will continue within Westmorly.
- Hardwood flooring installation will continue within Westmorly.
- Elevators will begin to be installed within Westmorly.
- Installation of steel stairways will continue.
SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH IMPACTS:
- Masonry work continues adjacent to 9 Bow and 22 Plympton Street.
- Masonry and carpentry material work will load in via Rear Lot.
- Excavation for a grease tank in the 22 Plympton Street Lot will continue. A crane will be onsite next week to install the tank. Date TBD.
WORK HOURS:
- Monday-Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm.
- Saturday February 1, 2025 – Site Open from 9:00am to 4:00pm
