- Excavation will continue from the new pre-cast manhole at the east end of Littauer towards the existing manhole adjacent to Paine Hall. Noise impact from excavation operation.
The following summarizes the utility work planned in the Littauer Lot for the week of February 18. Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise
Dates: 2/18/25-2/21/25
PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- Fencing will be relocated to Phase 3B and pedestrian traffic will be detoured as needed on Holmes Walk. The fence at the area of new 4×6 manhole in front of Littauer has been removed.
- Fencing in front of Austin Hall will be removed.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- Excavation will continue from new pre-cast manhole at the east end of Littauer towards the existing manhole adjacent to Paine Hall. Noise impact from excavation operation.
- Installation of conduit and reinforcing from the new pre-cast manhole at the east end of Littauer towards the existing manhole adjacent to Paine Hall will continue.
- Backfill of trench from new pre-cast manhole at the east end of Littauer towards the existing manhole adjacent to Paine Hall will begin. Noise and vibration impact from backfill operation
OTHER IMPACTS:
- Concrete placement of the duct bank along Holmes Walk.
WORK HOURS:
- Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- The job site will be closed on Monday, February 17 for President’s Day.
- Tentative plan to work Saturday, February 22 if needed to maintain schedule.
