The following summarizes the work planned on the Adams House Phase 3 renovation for the week of March 24. Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise.
Dates: 3/24/25-3/29/25
PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- Continuous deliveries and dumpster swaps will occur throughout the week.
- SDC is coordinating a water service tie-in within the site fence with the Water Dept. Dates & Times TBD. Abutters will be notified.
- Plympton Street will be closed from 7:00am-9:30am one day next week. The date is TBD because this activity is weather dependent. Abutters will be notified.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- Masonry work on the exterior façade will continue for all buildings.
- Masonry work will continue on the East Terrace outside of Westmorly Hall.
- Excavation and concrete work will begin on the East Terrace ramp outside of Westmorly Hall.
- Roofing installation is ongoing on the Dining Hall & Library Commons roofs.
- Window brickmold installation and painting at Westmorly & Russell Hall.
- Mechanical work continues on the Westmorly roof.
- Scaffolding dismantle will continue at Westmorly & Russell Hall.
INTERIOR ACTIVITIES:
- Framing and drywall will continue within Westmorly & Russell Hall.
- Installation of new systems will continue within Westmorly & Russell Hall.
- Spray foam insulation will continue within Westmorly & Russell Hall.
- Floor prep & tile installation will continue within Westmorly.
- Millwork installation will continue within Westmorly.
- Hardwood flooring installation will continue within Westmorly.
- Elevators will continue to be installed within Westmorly and Russell Hall.
SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH IMPACTS:
- Masonry work continues adjacent to 9 Bow and 22 Plympton Street.
- Masonry and carpentry material work will load in via Rear Lot.
WORK HOURS:
- Monday-Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm.
- Saturday, March 29, 2025 – Site Open from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
