PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- Shut down pedestrian crosswalk on Memorial Drive. Pedestrians to be diverted to the river side of Memorial drive.
- Cones and barriers are set up to prevent pedestrians from walking past the new Memorial Drive crosswalk.
- Install site fence around Eliot House renewal project
- Sidewalk shut down on JFK Street from Monday through Friday. Permit submitted to the city of Cambridge. Targeting completion for Wednesday.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- Continue site fence install around Eliot House.
- Archway and wrought iron removal.
- Grubbing in the courtyard.
- Tree removal.
- Excavation for bridge support above tunnel.
- Relocate existing utilities where future kitchen will sit.
- Kitchen slab prep on Dunster.
INTERIOR ACTIVITIES:
- Plumbing Cut/Cap and Temp Riser install.
- Steam cut and cap.
- Temp fire alarm install.
- Temp power install.
- MEP relocation in Kirkland.
- Selective demo and shutdowns as needed for Kirkland – all shutdowns impacting Kirkland planned and communicated in advance.
Weekend Activities:
- 6/14:
- Masons dismantle front entry.
- Welch grubbing site.
- Fence touch up.
- 6/21:
- Courtyard prep.
- Bridge install.
- Kirkland Kitchen Project interior demo as needed.
