Dear Neighbors:
As part of Harvard House Renewal’s multi-phase renovation of Adams House, work on Russell Hall, Library Commons, and Westmorly Court at 26 Plympton/13-21 Bow Street is now substantially complete.
As a reminder, the project’s scope was exterior restoration of the buildings, including new roofs, rebuilding chimneys, dormers, and repointing the brick facade, and full interior renovations to construct new student dormitory and staff living units, all with updated plumbing, HVAC, telephone/data, fire alarm and fire protection systems, and structural improvements. The project has also improved the buildings’ overall accessibility.
For the next few weeks, the contractor will be working on punch list related items in the buildings during normal business hours. This work is not expected to impact project abutters.
Please note that this will the final weekly project update. Harvard House Renewal and the contractor are appreciative of the neighborhood’s cooperation and patience over the last two years of construction.
