Week of October 13

GENERAL OCCUPANT INFORMATION

  1. Work will be within designated construction areas unless noted otherwise. Project work hours will be Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
    Some Saturday work between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. by permit may be necessary, with noisy work after 9:00 AM
  2. The plaza renovation project is targeting an end of May 2026 completion date.
  3. Refer to the attached 3-Week-Lookahead schedule for activities and their relative noise levels.
  4. The sunken garden will be taken offline the week of 9/29 and no access to this outdoor space will be allowed until the end of plaza construction.
  5. The basement restrooms will be taken offline the week of 9/29 to allow for start of repairs in the basement.  There will be no elevator access to basement through Winter 2026.
    Anyone requiring access to spaces behind the construction partitions may request access and someone will gladly accompany you to the room.
  6. The vending machines have been relocated to the 13th floor.
  7. Construction parking spots will be relocated to accommodate work. All parking spots available will be for occupant parking. Refer to attached logistics plan.
  8. Phase 1 high noise level work is scheduled to continue through October. Refer to TWLA schedule for further detail.

PLAZA WORK: Week of 10/13/25

  1. Concrete Repairs in West Areaway Continues.
  2. Concrete repairs in the mechanical room/basement.
  3. Scaffolding Demobilization will resume in roughly 1 week.
  4. Trucking deliveries throughout the week.
  5. Shrub and soil removal at North East Planter Bed will begin Saturday through the end of the week.
  6. Soil removal from Southeast planter utilizing a vacuum truck which will be located within contractor’s fenced area. 
  7. North Sidewalk Demo and Abatement adjacent to NW Ramp will continue the week of 10/13/25.

IMPACTS– high noise level from chipping, cutting and grinding will be most noticeable in N of building footprint. Vacuum truck will produce elevated noise levels.

INTERIOR WORK: Week of 10/13/25

  1. Concrete repairs in mechanical room.
  2. Interior relocations for repairs in mechanical room
  3. Installation of temporary barriers in public areas of the basement week of 10/20

IMPACTS- medium noise level from cutting, chipping and grinding
