GENERAL OCCUPANT INFORMATION

  • Work will be within designated construction areas unless noted otherwise. Project work hours will be Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
    Some Saturday work between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. by permit may be necessary, with noisy work after 9:00 AM
  • The plaza renovation project is targeting an end of May 2026 completion date.
  • The sunken garden will be taken offline the week of 9/29 and no access to this outdoor space will be allowed until the end of plaza construction.
  • The basement restrooms were taken offline the week of 9/29 to allow for start of repairs in the basement.  There will be no elevator access to basement through the winter 2026. Anyone requiring access to spaces behind the construction partitions may request access and someone will gladly accompany you to the room.
  • The vending machines have been relocated to the 13th floor.
  • Construction parking spots will be moved to accommodate work.
  • Phase 1 high noise level work is scheduled to continue into November.
  • The North loading dock building entrance (ADA) will be closed Friday, 11/7/25 through Wednesday 11/12/25 (end of business). HU security detail will be at the main entrance to allow for ADA access during this time.

PLAZA WORK: Week of 11/10/25

  1. Concrete repairs in west areaway continues.
  2. Concrete repairs continue in the mechanical room/basement.
  3. Trucking deliveries throughout the week.
  4. North Sidewalk demo and abatement adjacent to NW ramp will continue the week of 11/10/25
  5. Perimeter soffit work around the exterior of the building will continue the week of 11/10/25 (Weather Depending)
  6. Use of lull on Kirkland Street Plaza will be ongoing during week of 11/10/25                                                                                  

IMPACTS– high noise level from chipping, cutting and grinding will be most noticeable in the north of building footprint.

INTERIOR WORK: Week of 11/10/25

  1. Concrete repairs in mechanical room.
  2. Interior relocations for repairs in mechanical room
  3. MEP hanger installation in the mechanical room will occur during the week of 11/10/25
