KIRKLAND HOUSE IMPACTS:
- Dunster Street: the site contractor will continue mass excavation and hauling out material.
- Dunster Street: Police details have been scheduled to assist with pedestrian safety and vehicular traffic.
- Noisy Work: The site contractor will continue drilled pile operations at the Connector between Eliot and Kirkland.
- Noisy Work: Eliot House interior demolition Monday – Friday (7am – 3pm) Saturday (9am – 5pm).
- Noisy Work: Eliot House façade restoration which includes masonry and roofing demolition.
PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- State Police Detail and HUPD detail called Monday-Friday to assist construction vehicles entering and exiting into public roads.
- Continuous deliveries off Memorial Drive into the courtyard.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- Demolition of masonry banding around building.
- Exterior washing of masonry façade – Southeast Building.
- Scaffold installation on the chimneys in the North.
- Demolition / abatement of Southeast roof.
- Continuous daily dumpster swaps during first shift off Memorial Drive.
- Demolition of chimneys on the North Building.
- Rebuilding chimneys on the Southwest Building.
- Mass excavation in Dunster Circle.
- Site preparation and drilled piles installation at Connector Building.
INTERIOR ACTIVITIES:
- Saw cutting basement slabs.
- Drilling piles in the basement.
- Demolition using lulls / trash chutes.
- Removal of sub grade basement soils.
- MEP coring through slabs.
- Super cap placement in the North Building.
- Framing and boarding in the Southwest Building.
WEEKEND ACTIVITIES:
Saturday – 12/20/25
- Demolition / abatement of southeast building – Level 1.
- Site preparation and drilling of piles at the Connector between Eliot and Kirkland. – This will be a noisy activity.
WORK HOURS:
- Monday-Friday 7am-6:00pm.
- Saturday 12/20/25 – 9am – 5pm.
