During the summer of 2024, HLS is making renovations to the 4th and 5th floors of Areeda Hall. Work began on Monday, May 28, with substantial completion targeted for September 1, 2024. The work includes some demolition of the existing Levels 4 and 5 with subsequent demo and repair on Levels 3 and 5 to facilitate the construction of new restrooms and building services. New mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems will be installed throughout level 4 to service the new office floorplan. A crane will be used to bring in steel to the building later in June and abutters will be notified of this work in advance. All other deliveries and materials will be brought into the building via the walkway between Griswold and Langdell before 9am. Project abutters are being notified of any work that could be potentially disruptive to the HLS community.
