The following summarizes the utility work planned in the Littauer Lot for the week of January 6 Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise.
Dates: 1/6/25-1/10/25
PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- Fencing will remain relocated in Phase 2B/2C.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- Excavation will continue at the Littauer Entrance. Noise impact from excavation operation.
- Excavation will continue for temporary transformer duct banks and pads in front of Austin Hall. Noise impact from excavation operation.
- Backfill and restoration will begin at the Littauer tie-in area. Noise and vibration impact from backfilling and paving operations.
- Conduit installation will begin from the Littauer tie-in towards the Littauer Entrance.
- Excavation will begin for the installation of a manhole structure. Noise and vibration impact from excavation and backfilling operations.
OTHER IMPACTS:
- Concrete placement at Littauer tie-in.
- Soil sampling will continue on Monday, January 6 through Friday, January 10. The areas to be sampled are within the proposed site and current work area. Noise and vibration impacts can be anticipated from sampling.
WORK HOURS:
- Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Tentative plan to work Saturday, January 11 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM to maintain schedule.
