The following summarizes the utility work planned in the Littauer Lot for the week of May 26. Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise
Dates: 5/27/25-5/30/25
PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- Work zones will be coned off at the manholes located outside of Austin Hall, in the lawn adjacent to the laydown area, in front of Paine Hall and in the alleyway adjacent to Paine Hall to allow work inside the manholes on Friday, May 30.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- On Friday, May 30 McDonald Electric with Harvard E&U will shut down power to Littauer Hall and Paine Hall in order to cutover the new power feeds to these buildings. Power will be shut off at 7:00 AM and is expected to remain off until 7:00 PM. Crews will be working in multiple manholes throughout the site as well as inside the buildings’ electrical rooms on this day. A cable puller truck will be outside near Pain Hall for the duration of this work. There will be noise impacts from this operation.
OTHER IMPACTS:
- No other impacts are expected.
WORK HOURS:
- NO WORK Monday-Thursday, due to Commencement Ceremonies 2025.
- Friday, May 30 5:30 AM to 8:00 PM.
- No plan to work Saturday, May 31 at this time.
