The following summarizes the work planned for the New FAS Building for the week of July 21. Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise or impacts.

PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- The walkway in front of Austin Hall towards Hemenway Gym will be re-opened to pedestrian traffic.
- The remainder of the site fence will remain in its current location with additional fence posts and fabric installed in front of Austin Hall. Prior to the permanent fence being installed, temporary fence panels will be installed to secure the site from the public.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- WL French will continue to clear the site and begin the pre-excavation for the secant pile Support of Excavation (SOE) system. Noise impacts can be anticipated from the equipment during this operation.
- The Consigli field office trailer will be delivered and assembled in front of Gannett House within the site fence. Minimal noise impacts from this operation.
- Dagle Electric will be shutting off the power to the site lights and the poles will be removed. Temporary light towers will be used to illuminate the walkways. No noise impact from this operation as light towers are solar.
OTHER IMPACTS:
- There will be multiple construction vehicles entering and existing the site. Equipment and trucking will continue using the construction entrance off of Massachusetts Avenue between Gannett House and Hemenway Gymnasium in conjunction with the existing construction entrance on Cambridge Street (between Gannett and Littauer).
- Wayfinding signage has been ordered and will be installed around the site in the coming weeks.
WORK HOURS:
- Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No plan to work Saturday, July 26 at this time.
