Harvard Law School’s North Hall located at 1651 Mass Ave is undergoing some ADA upgrades this summer. The project scope consists of renovating seven student rooms, including bathrooms to achieve ADA compliance. Hearing-impaired communication features will be added to 12 student rooms. The first floor visitor restrooms will be renovated to create one accessible visitor restroom and an accessible kitchenette. The project scope also includes reconstructing the concrete walkway at the main entrance, upgrading kitchen hoods, and adjusting door actuators at common room areas. Temporary fencing will be in place in front of the building and a dumpster will be located in the circular driveway to support this project.
Work began on Monday, May 28, 20204, with completion targeted for mid-August 2024. Project abutters have been notified of any work that could be potentially disruptive to the HLS community. All equipment and materials have been delivered via North Hall’s main entrance off Mass Ave.
