Utility Repair Work @ 60 Oxford Street Begins Week of May 9th

Due to a recently discovered utility issue impacting 60 Oxford Street, a contractor will be excavating and performing utility repair work in the front of the building starting on Tuesday, May 10. The work is expected to wrap up on or about Friday, May 27. We apologize for the short notice; however, it is important that this matter is addressed as soon as possible.

Impacts – What Neighbors Can Expect:

  • The excavation and repair area is located in front of 60 Oxford Street between the building and the sidewalk.
  • Project work hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • The work will require the contractor to close a portion of the sidewalk in front of 60 Oxford Street to ensure pedestrian safety. Signage will be posted to provide guidance.
  • Oxford Street will remain open to vehicles in both directions.
  • The contractor will need to use two to three parking spaces in front of the building to accommodate the equipment necessary to complete this work. Signage will be posted.
  • Neighbors can expect that the work will generate some noise due to the presence of construction equipment, trucks, and the use of an excavator.
  • Neighbors will not experience any utility service disruptions during this work.
