The Western Avenue utility crossing roadway and Kresge Way phase of infrastructure work is finishing up with inspections and punch list work in coordination with University operations.

Enterprise Research Campus (ERC)
- Work is scheduled for this Saturday, June 1 starting at 7 a.m.
- The Treehouse Conference Center will have crews doing masonry core work.
- The Residential/Hotel will be prepping for concrete.
- At the laboratory buildings crews will be saw cutting concrete on lower levels, doing steel detailing and installing rebar.
- Structural steel continues to be delivered and installed using the tower cranes at the lab buildings.
- Concrete and rebar operations are ongoing.
- Mass timber is being installed at the Treehouse conference center.
- The Treehouse core work continues.
- Intermittent use of power trowels for concrete finishing may take place after 6 a.m.
- Work is progressing to level nine and ten of the high rise and midrise residential buildings.
- The hotel has steel installed to Level 10.
- Four tower cranes are operating on site and are designed to move or “weathervane” in the wind when not operational.
- Eversource is planning to make final connections and inspections on Thursday, June 6 to connect temporary power to the Treehouse, which may involve the use of equipment intermittently out on Western Avenue.
- Punchlist work and adjustments are ongoing on the Residential/Hotel, Conference Center, and Laboratory mockups with an occasional lane shift on Rotterdam Street for use of a lift and possible deliveries.
- Drones will be in use weekly to monitor construction progress on site.
- Drones will be operated by licensed pilots in accordance with Harvard University and the City of Boston regulations.
- Flights are weather dependent and are scheduled Wednesdays or Thursdays alternating weekly.

92 Seattle Street
- Curtainwall and electrical work is scheduled for this Saturday, June 1 starting at 7 a.m.
- Angle roof work using a lift to support this work on Rena Path continues.
- Use of a crane may be necessary to hoist equipment onto the roof.
- HVAC and electrical work are underway.
- Concrete placement is underway for the addition on the façade and ramp area will take place on the east side of the site.
- Roof replacement work remains ongoing.
- Interior work continues to progress.
- Small concrete placements will take place.
175 North Harvard Street,100 South Campus Drive, 201 Western Avenue Lot Expansion
Construction has begun on the new American Repertory Theater (ART), which will be located at the front of the 175 North Harvard parcel with the new Harvard University affiliate housing building already under construction behind it.
- Work will take place this Saturday, June 1 on the mock-up at the corner of North Harvard Street and Academic Way across from the site.
- South Campus Drive will be shut down during regular work hours on Monday, June 3 through Wednesday, June 5 to safely accommodate bracing removal.
- Utility work on Ivy Lane will finish this week. One lane of traffic will be maintained during work hours, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The road will be plated after hours with two lanes of traffic reopened. Sidewalk restoration will take place.
- Concrete form/rebar work and placement continue on the residential north elevator core tower and on foundation walls.
- Utility work will take place inside the site.
- A tower crane is operating on site. At the end of each shift, the crane will be left in weathervane mode with safety lighting turned inward.
- South Campus Drive has been redirected to one way traffic from Western Avenue to North Harvard Street.
- Vehicles will not be allowed to enter from the North Harvard Street entrance to South Campus Drive.
On the new American Repertory Theater (ART) work site, small concrete pours are taking place every couple of days and waterproofing operations continue. The project continues to work on the building’s footings and foundation walls, backfill operations, and duct bank work. Some excavation has begun on the site closest to N. Harvard Street. Daily material deliveries for the backfill operations are ongoing.
- Soil is being stockpiled on site and covered to minimize dust.
- Because concrete pours cannot be stopped mid-pour, some of these operations may occasionally go slightly later than 6 p.m. The contractor will make every effort to minimize this.
- Wheel washing and street sweeping continues.
- Deliveries are ongoing.
- Site work hours are 7 a.m.-4 p.m.
- The MBTA bus stop in front of the building has been relocated closer to South Campus Drive.
- Lot expansion is underway at the 201 Western Avenue lot, where construction workers park and field offices are set up and in use.
- Paving of the expanded lot area is scheduled for Thursday, June 6 while prep work including excavating and grading continues inside the fence bordering Academic Way and behind the ArtLab.
- A vacuum truck will be in the lot on Monday working in manholes.
- During the expansion activity and for concrete placements, intermittent use of the back gate will take place for truck staging and/or exiting.
210 North Harvard Street
- The fit-out team is installing an outdoor freezer in the loading dock area off Bertram Street.
- Permanent power feeds will be connected later this spring.
108 Holton Street
Crews will be preparing to demolition this building during this three-month project.
- Demolition preparation is underway.
- National Grid will be working on Monday, June 3 in a roadway trench to cut and cap the gasline.
55 Antwerp Street
- Utility work is complete with minor clean-up work in the lot and sidewalk continuing near the Artists Asylum through the month.
Soldiers Field Garage Masonry Repairs
Crews will continue to set up a summer masonry repair project at Soldiers Field Garage.
