Public Way Impacts
- The project site will be open, and crews are scheduled to work on Monday, February 20, Presidents Day.
- Harvard/Cambridge Police details will be posted at each intersection of Bow Street, Linden Street and Plympton Street.
- Bow Street will remain closed in front of Randolph Hall from Linden to Plympton Street.
- Linden Street and Plympton Street will periodically be blocked to vehicle traffic for dumpster swaps, deliveries, and to move machinery.
- A site fence has been installed, including lighting and signage.
- Dumpster swaps will continue at the north end of Plympton Street, Bow Street, and the courtyard.
- Continuous deliveries will happen at Linden, Plympton, and Bow Streets.
- Linden Street will be closed on Tuesday, February 21, to vehicular traffic as crews will need to set up a boom lift in the street to complete punch list items on the west façade of the building. Vehicles will detour to Dunster Street to access Mt. Auburn Street.
Exterior Site Activities
- Work on the courtyard landscape and hardscape is progressing.
- Sidewalk pavers continue to be set on Plympton Street as well as sidewalk curbing on Linden Street, both with no impacts.
- Mounting exterior light fixtures is ongoing.
- Exterior doors will continue to be set.
Interior Site Activities
- Spray insulation on the ground floor remains ongoing.
- Punch list items will occur on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors.
- Taping, plastering, and finishing is progressing on the 1st and 4th floor.
- Tile installation is continuing on the 1st, 2nd, and ground floors.
- Wood flooring continues to be installed on the 2nd and 1st floor.
- Installation of trim on the 1st and 2nd floor will continue to take place.
- Priming and applying the first coat of paint remains ongoing.
- Application of finish paint will occur where applicable.
- Restoration of the stairs is progressing.
- Installation of window shades is ongoing.
- Appliances, toilet accessories, bathroom mirrors, door handles, and additional hardware will continue to be installed.
