Public Way Impacts

  • Harvard/Cambridge Police details will be posted at each intersection of Bow Street, Linden Street and Plympton Street.
  • Bow Street will remain closed in front of Randolph Hall from Linden to Plympton Street.
  • Linden Street and Plympton Street will periodically be blocked to vehicle traffic for dumpster swaps, deliveries, and to move machinery.
  • A site fence has been installed, including lighting and signage.
  • Dumpster swaps will continue at the north end of Plympton Street, Bow Street, and the courtyard.
  • Continuous deliveries will happen at Linden, Plympton, and Bow Streets.
  • Linden Street will be closed to vehicular traffic on Monday, April 3 through Friday, April 7, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for the installation of the sidewalk curb on Linden Street. An excavator will be positioned in the street to support this activity. The road will re-open to vehicles after 4:00 p.m. Pedestrians will have full access to Linden Street during this work. Vehicles trying to access Mt. Auburn St. from Mass. Ave will be detoured down Dunster Street. During this work, vehicles will be able to access the garage at the top of Linden Street and a police detail will be positioned at the top of the street at Mass Ave to assist vehicles needing access to the garage.  

 Exterior Site Activities

  • Work on the courtyard landscape and hardscape continues to progress.
  • Sidewalk curbing on Linden Street continues to be set.

Interior Site Activities

  • Punch list items remain to occur on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors.
  • Taping, plastering, and finishing continues on the ground floor.
  • Tile installation on the 1st and ground floor is ongoing.
  • Installation of wood flooring is making progress on the 1st floor.
  • Priming and applying the first coat of paint is ongoing.
  • Application of finish paint continues to occur where applicable.
  • Installation of trim will continue to take place on the 1st floor.
  • Restoration of the stairs is progressing.
  • Window shades continue to be installed.
  • Appliances, toilet accessories, bathroom mirrors, door handles, and additional hardware continue to be installed.
  • Overhead rough-ins for electrical, plumbing, mechanical, Tel data, and fire protection remains.
