The following summarizes the work planned on the Adams House Phase 3 renovation for the week of December 11th. Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise.
PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- Continuous deliveries and dumpster swaps throughout the week.
- Crews will be live loading demo debris from the back parking lot to a dumpster staged on Bow Street.
- Trucking of soils and concrete will continue from Gate 2 on Bow Street.
- Eversource will continue working on the gas line at the Bow and Arrow Intersection.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- Masonry work on the exterior façade will continue.
- Masonry cutting work along the north, west, and south elevations.
- Scaffolding installation will continue on the east elevation.
- Installation of manhole structures will continue at the East Terrace.
- Excavation for foundations will continue in the Light Court/Conservatory Area.
- Man/material hoist will be operating while the site is open.
- On weekdays the lift will operate 7:00am-5:00pm and Saturday it will operation from 9:00am-4:30pm.
- Temporary roof install will continue for Westmorly Hall.
- A crane is planned to place steel on the second floor out of the back parking lot on Tuesday or Wednesday.
- A vacuum truck will be used for exploratory test pits in the basement of Westmorly Hall.
INTERIOR ACTIVITIES:
- Interior rough carpentry will continue.
- Interior demolition of Westmorly and Russell Halls.
- Steel erection within Westmorly Hall will continue.
- Saw cutting and removal of Russell Hall slab and Westmorly Slab will continue.
- Spray foam and drywall operations will mobilize for Westmorly Hall.

- Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 3:30pm
- Saturday 12/16 – 9:00am to 4:30pm
