The following summarizes the work planned on the Adams House Phase 3 renovation for the week of May 13. Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise.
PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- Continuous deliveries and dumpster swaps will occur throughout the week.
- Trucking of soils and concrete will continue from Bow Street Gate 2.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- Masonry work on the exterior façade will continue. Repointing of stone on the north, south & west elevations of Russell Hall and cutting along the west & south elevation of the library commons, and the north & east elevation of Westmorly is progressing. Above the pool theater, within the Westmorly courtyard, cutting and washing activities will continue to take place.
- Masonry rebuilds for the Russell Hall and Westmorly chimney’s is ongoing.
- Masonry rebuild of the north façade of Westmorly will continue to occur on the area adjacent to the School of Public Health.
- Masonry rebuild of the window bays at the east elevation of Westmorly will begin.
- Work on the windows continues to occur on the south and east elevations of Westmorly.
- Stripping will take place for the exterior windows of Russell Hall on the south and west elevations.
- Scaffolding will begin to be erected on the northeast and east elevations of Russell Hall.
- A crane pick is scheduled to occur on Monday, May 13 in the CEDC lot to assist with the erection of the permanent steel structure within Westmorly.
- A concrete truck will be on Bow Street for a concrete placement scheduled for the end of the week.
- Man/material hoist will be operating while the site is open.
- On weekdays the lift will operate 7am-3:30pm and on Saturday it will be in operation from 9am-4:30pm.
INTERIOR ACTIVITIES:
- Interior framing and drywall activities will continue to occur in Westmorly.
- Excavations for under slab utilities within Westmorly continues to progress.
- Rebar & concrete work will take place at Westmorly and in the Conservatory area.
- Installation of new mechanical systems within Westmorly is ongoing.
- Installation of the elevator shafts within Russell Hall and Westmorly Court will continue.

- Saturday, May 18: 9am to 4:30pm
