The following summarizes the work planned on the Adams House Phase 3 renovation for the week of December 25th. Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise.
PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- Continuous deliveries and dumpster swaps will take place throughout the week.
- Crews will be live loading demo debris from the back parking lot to a dumpster staged on Bow Street.
- Trucking of soils and concrete will continue to occur from Bow Street Gate 2.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- Masonry work on the exterior façade will continue, which includes cutting along the North, West and South Elevations.
- The installation of scaffolding is ongoing on the East Elevation.
- A crane is tentatively scheduled to be onsite Wednesday – Friday for temporary steel at back parking lot.
- Man/material hoist will be operating while the site is open.
- On weekdays the lift will operate between the hours of 7:00am-3:30pm and on Saturday it will be in operation from 9:00am-4:30pm.
INTERIOR ACTIVITIES:
- Interior rough carpentry will continue.
- Interior demolition of Westmorly and Russell Halls continues.
- Abatement is ongoing within the project (Russell Hall, Library, Dining Hall and Westmorly).
- Drywall activities in Westmorly Hall will take place early in the week.
- Excavations within Russell Hall’s basement remain ongoing.
- Excavations for under slab utilities within Westmorly Hall will take place.
WORK HOURS:
- Jobsite will be closed Monday 12/25 for Christmas Holiday
- Tuesday to Friday: 7:00am to 3:30pm
- Saturday 12/30 – 9am to 4:30pm
