The following summarizes the work planned on the Adams House Phase 3 renovation for the week of January 1st. Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise.
PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- Continuous deliveries and dumpster swaps throughout the week.
- Crews will be live loading demo debris from the back parking lot to a dumpster staged on Bow Street.
- Trucking of soils and concrete will continue at Gate 2 on Bow Street.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- Masonry work on the exterior façade will continue, which includes cutting along the north, west and south elevations of the Library Commons.
- Scaffolding installation will continue on the east elevation of Westmorly.
- A crane is tentatively scheduled to be onsite in the middle of the week for temporary steel at back parking lot.
- Man/material hoist will be operating while the site is open.
- On weekdays the lift will operate 7:00am-3:30pm and Saturday it will be in operation from 9:00am-4:30pm.
INTERIOR ACTIVITIES:
- Interior wood framing will continue in Westmorly.
- Interior demolition of Library and Dining Hall areas.
- Demolition of Westmorly North levels 2 and 3 is scheduled to start the end of the week into Saturday.
- A lull will be operating in the back parking lot for this operation.
- Abatement is ongoing within the project (Russell Hall, Library, Dining Hall and Westmorly).
- Drywall ignition barriers installation in Westmorly Hall will continue on the 4th floor.
- Excavations within Russell Hall’s basement remain ongoing.
- Excavations for under slab utilities within Westmorly Hall will take place.

- Jobsite Closed Monday 1/1 for New Years Day
- Tuesday to Friday: 7:00am to 3:30pm
- Saturday 1/6 – 9am to 4:30pm
