Public Way Impacts
- The Project Site will be closed on Monday Dec. 26th for the observed Christmas Holiday.
- Harvard/Cambridge Police details will be posted at each intersection of Bow Street, Linden Street and Plympton Street.
- Bow Street will remain closed in front of Randolph Hall from Linden to Plympton Street.
- Linden Street and Plympton Street will periodically be blocked to vehicle traffic for dumpster swaps, deliveries, and to move machinery.
- A site fence has been installed, including lighting and signage.
- Dumpster swaps will continue at the north end of Plympton Street, Bow Street, and the courtyard.
- Continuous deliveries will happen at Linden, Plympton, and Bow Streets.
Exterior Site Activities
- Work on the subgrade in the courtyard is ongoing.
- The stairs and the Apthorp wall located in the courtyard will continue to be rebuilt.
- Balcony supports will continue to be installed on Linden Street.
- Underground utilities will be installed within the site fence on Linden Street.
- Installation of pavers will take place on Plympton Street.
- Excavation and backfilling at the steam tunnel is ongoing.
- Backfilling and other work activities on the wall foundations and stairs in the courtyard will continue to occur.
Interior Site Activities
- Spray insulation is ongoing on the ground floor and in the basement.
- Taping, plastering, and finishing will continue on the 1st and the 4th floor.
- Tile installation is ongoing on the 1st and 2nd floor.
- Wood flooring continues to be installed on the 2nd and 1st floor.
- Installation of trim on the 1st and 2nd floor is ongoing.
- Restoration of the stairs will continue.
- Elevator installation is ongoing.
- Installation of risers for electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and fire protection will continue, as well as overhead rough-ins.
