The following summarizes the work planned on the Adams House Phase 3 renovation for the week of March 25. Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise.
PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- Continuous deliveries and dumpster swaps will occur throughout the week.
- Trucking of soils and concrete will continue next week from Bow Street Gate 2.
- A concrete Pump Truck is scheduled for Tuesday, March 26 at Bow Street Gate 2.
- Tuesday, March 26 a crane is scheduled to be on site in the rear parking lot.
- Eversource will be working in the Bow Street and Arrow Street intersection starting on Monday, March 25. Work is expected to occur through Friday, March 29 with working hours 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- Masonry work on the exterior façade will continue with cutting along the West & South elevation of the library commons, and the North & East elevation of Westmorly.
- The roofing contractor will continue abatement / demo of slate roof on the library.
- Masonry demo for the Russell Hall chimneys continues.
- Crane activity for the chimney demo at Russell Hall is ongoing.
- Man/material hoist will be operating while the site is open.
- On weekdays the lift will operate 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and on Saturdays it will be in operation from 9 a.m. -4:30 p.m.
INTERIOR ACTIVITIES:
- Interior wood framing will continue in Westmorly.
- Drywall and framing work is ongoing within Westmorly.
- Excavations within Russell Halls’ basement will occur.
- Excavations for under slab utilities within Westmorly is progressing.
- Excavations for new Elevator #1 in Westmorly South will continue to take place.
- Rebar & concrete work is continuing.
- Mechanical contractors will continue with installation of new systems within Westmorly.
- Scaffolding at the Pool Theater and Courtyard remains ongoing.
WORK HOURS:
- Monday to Friday: 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Saturday March 30: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
