Week of April 8, 2024

The following summarizes the work planned on the Adams House Phase 3 renovation for the week of April 8. Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise.

PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
•    Continuous deliveries and dumpster swaps will occur throughout the week.
•    Trucking of soils and concrete will continue next week from Bow Street Gate 2.
•    A concrete Pump Truck is scheduled for Wednesday, April 10 at Bow Street Gate 2.
•    A crane is scheduled to be on site in the rear parking lot, with a date to be determined based on weather conditions. 

 
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES: 
•    Masonry work on the exterior façade will continue with repointing of the stone on the North, West and South elevations of Russell Hall and cutting along the West and South elevations of the library commons, and the North and East elevations of Westmorly.
•    The roofing contractor will continue abatement / demo of slate roof on the library.
•    Masonry demo for the Russell Hall chimneys continues. 
•    Crane activity for the chimney demo at Russell Hall is ongoing. 
•    Abatement/stripping will continue for the exterior windows on the South and West elevations of Westmorly.

•    Man/material hoist will be operating while the site is open.

  • On weekdays the lift will operate 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and on Saturdays it will be in operation from 9 a.m. -4:30 p.m. 

INTERIOR ACTIVITIES:
•    Interior wood framing will continue in Westmorly.
•    Drywall and framing work is ongoing within Westmorly.
•    Excavations for under slab utilities within Westmorly continues to progress.
•    Rebar & concrete work is continuing.

•    Mechanical contractors will continue with installation of new systems within Westmorly.
•    Scaffolding at the Pool Theater and Courtyard remains ongoing. 

WORK HOURS:
•    Monday to Friday: 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
•    Saturday April 13: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
