The following summarizes the work planned on the Adams House Phase 3 renovation for the week of November 13. Please note that items in BOLD are expected to generate some noticeable noise.
PUBLIC WAY IMPACTS:
- Continuous deliveries and dumpster swaps throughout the week.
- Crew will be live loading demo debris from the back parking lot to a dumpster staged on Bow Street.
- Eversource will continue the removal of the existing gas main at the intersection of Bow Street and Arrow Street.
- This work is scheduled to take place Monday, November 13th.
- This is an Eversource project and is permitted separately from the Adams Phase 3 Project.
- Following this work crews will complete a storm drain tie-in in this area.
- Jersey barriers along upper Bow Street will be reinstalled following this work.
EXTERIOR SITE ACTIVITIES:
- Masonry work on the exterior façade will continue.
- Washing activities will take place on the south elevation of Westmorly Hall.
- Scaffolding installation will continue along North & West elevations of the Library.
- Man/material hoist will be operating while the site is open.
- On weekdays the lift will operate 7am-5pm and Saturday it will operate from 9am-4:30pm.
- Steel erection at the fourth floor of Westmorly Hall will continue.
- Dewatering equipment set up will continue at Russell Hall.
- Crews will be onsite Tuesday, November 14, to set up temporary heating equipment in the alleyway adjacent to 22 Plympton Street.
INTERIOR ACTIVITIES:
- Interior rough carpentry will continue.
- Interior demolition of Westmorly and Russell Halls.
- Steel erection within Westmorly Hall will continue.
- Saw cutting and removal of Russell Hall slab will continue.

- Monday to Friday: 7am to 3:30pm
- Saturday 11/18 – 9am to 4:30pm
